When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a contact form, or comment on a blog post. We only collect personal information (ie. your email address and any other information you may provide) when you choose to sign up for the newsletter or submit an inquiry using the contact form.
This website may also collect non-personal information about visitors when they interact with the site. This information may include the browser name, means of connection to the site, and other non-identifying information.
How do we use information?
Personal data is only used as allowed by law. We may use the information the website collects from you when you sign up for the newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication or submit an inquiry using the contact form. Subscriber information is never shared with an third party.
Your information will only be used in the following ways:
- To send periodic emails as part of the newsletter (if you subscribed to the newsletter)
- To respond to questions, comments, or requests
- Improve the website through information analysis
We use MailerLite to manage our email marketing subscriber list and to send emails to our subscribers. As a third-party provider, MailerLite may process your data using industry standard technologies to help monitor and improve the newsletter.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided at the end of each newsletter, or by sending an email requesting that you be unsubscribed.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
